Cymatics (from Greek kyma, wave) is the study of visible vibration. A driven plate or fluid surface prefers standing-wave geometries at resonant frequencies — nodal lines where the surface barely moves, antinodes where it heaves. This chamber sums circular membrane modes (Bessel) or square Chladni modes near your chosen drive frequency, with Lorentzian resonance peaks controlled by damping.
